Neha Marvania

Neha Marvania is running for school board because she believes every child in the district deserves excellent teaching, supportive schools, and a community that champions their potential. As a parent with a child entering the school system and an educator with over 13 years of experience, she understands what it takes to create classrooms where students thrive.

Starting her career as a Teach for America teacher, Neha now leads history instruction for more than 8,000+ students across 23 schools within a high-performing charter network. In this role, she collaborates with teachers, leaders, and families to establish a vision for excellence and promote strong student outcomes. She also brings policy experience from internships with local and state legislators, where she connected her passion for education with public service.

Locally, Neha has advocated for equitable before- and after-care costs and expanded library programming. As a board member, she will focus on raising student achievement, supporting and retaining great teachers, and strengthening partnerships with families.
